Sandra White Lamb entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was born December 24, 1944 to the late Vermit White and Catherine Nichols White.

After attending Norfolk Public Schools, she earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University. She continued her education at Hampton University where she earned her BS in Nursing and did graduate work in guidance.   As an RN, she served in the Army Reserves and attained the rank of Major.

Sandra loved to cook and was adept at creating recipes that were palatable to all.  She also loved to travel, and went on seventeen cruises to places that included Grand Turk, The Dominican Republic and Aruba.

She was also blessed to have traveled to such places as Scotland, Ireland, The French Riviera and Paris.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, her children; daughter, Deirdre N. Lamb and son Winford F. Lamb, III; grandchildren; Tyler and Taylor Lamb; two sisters, Carol (Sammy) Hargrove and Brenda (James) Sears; uncle, Dorie (Retha) White; two nephews; Jeffrey (Ayanna) Sears and Jonathan (Erin) Sears; cousin , Regina Smith; two great nieces, one great nephew and former husband, Leon Graves.
