Zac Efron through the years

Born in San Luis Obispo, Calif. on October 18, 1987, Zac Efron rose to fame in his teens, picking up roles in episodes of Firefly and ER before joining Summerland as Cameron Bale. He famously made his debut as Troy Bolton in High School Musical in 2006, and went on to reprise the role in multiple sequels. Over a decade later, Efron is a bona fide star, with credits that include 17 Again, Neighbors, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Disaster Artist, The Greatest Showman, and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
